Current Version: 1.0.2 Keys Used: (none) This was actually done due to a request I saw. I had come up with some code for this, but decided to make it into a plugin as well (for those who may not be code-savvy). While on the Create Thread (for new threads) page or the Create Post (on the full Reply page), this will add a text line that can have the variable $[boardname] in it to give you the current board's name. Here's some images: Create Thread page with regular text Full Reply page with regular text Create Thread page that has uses the $[boardname] variable Settings tab in the UI - only needs a text line and (optionally) a color Create Thread page that uses the color option The text line can use just regular text, just the $[boardname] variable, or a combination. If no text line is entered, the plugin won't do anything. Version 1.0.2 now allows the use of $[category] to use in the text line as well, to give the category's name that the thread / post will be made in. This can be used with or without the $[boardname] replacement. Changelog: 1.0.2 - Added support to use $[category] in the text line to give the category's name that the thread is in. 1.0.1 - Fixed error resulting if not on a board page. 1.0.0 - Plugin made.

Eh, looks like I bombed big time on this plugin. Back to the drawing board, I guess.

Lynx , Extremely disappointment with them, especially the Pixel Editor considering it took me a week to do (and has a nice feature; drag and drop your art onto the post), as I had to scratch so much of it and redo it as I worked out more efficient ways to do things. So yeah, I know what ya feeling, but just keep at it. Edit: I should also add that I wasn't expecting the Christmas plugin to get much attention, but gives you an idea that not all of my plugins are popular, even when some of them take a lot of effort to do.

To add to what Peter said...
Your plugin has been in the library for 10 days, so I wouldn't be too worried about that. I have plugins that have been in the library for months but have only been installed a few times.
Don't knock yourself simply because a plugin isn't as popular as you had hoped.

Peter, I thought I had it bookmarked, but I guess not - could you please link me to your Yootil API Documentation? I'd like to see if I can wrap my head around it to see if I can use it in a plugin. Thanks! EDIT: Oh, and I was actually surprised that these 2 seem to be doing okay. I really didn't think the PM Notifications would have that many installs.

I would love this with the option to do Categories or boards. Please advise. Can you elaborate on what you're asking for, please? I'm not sure what you're looking for this to do. This plugin only works on the Create Thread page and the Full Reply page. You can add in what board the person is on by using $[boardname] in the Text Line field in the UI settings. You can't post directly in a category - posts are made in boards that are in categories. So, underachieved4now, if you could elaborate more on what you are looking for this to do, I'll see if it's possible.

It sounds to me like he would love for this to show Category Name instead of the Board name.

Version 1.0.2 has been submitted to the library.
This version now allows the use of using $[category] in the text line to display what category the thread will be in as well. It can be used with or without the existing $[boardname] replacement.
I'll post here once the new version has been approved.

Radrook, On your forum, you've got this plugin incorrectly configured: If you want it to actually display the board's name, that must be $[boardname] exactly. In other words, it must include the $ as well as the [ ]. The way you have it now, it will just put the actual, literal word boardname there.
