My site: lovegood-lounge.proboards.com/Attention Craig (or anyone who knows the answer to my questions, whomever pops in here first.) Dear Craig, I just found, during a search, that you answered the question for another user on how to remove the thread views from their site but ONLY FOR GUESTS. This is your quote from there:. If you go into your layout templates, and open up the thread list option: admin > themes > layout templates > board > thread list Find $[thread.views] and incase it in an if statement like so: <td class="views">
{if $[current_user.is_member]}
$[thread.views]
{/if}
</td> I'm actually trying to remove THREADS/POSTS, and their numbers from home page... Probably their 'cells' too. Not really sure if I worded that correctly.
Anyway, I'm also trying to remove the REPLIES/VIEWS and the numbers from the open board. I'm wanting this removed for everyone, not just guests. I was not sure if your post, quoted above, was only for guests... How would I change it to work for everyone?
From the searches I've done this morning, all I've been able to achieve is how to remove the "bar" that says "board, created by, threads, and post, last post. (Paul's thread from back about four years ago.) It's supposed to take away the whole column according to the name of the thread, but each time I try, it only takes away the bar, leaving the numbers there. So, I'm sort of stuck. If anyone can help me, It'd be much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Thank you so much Brian . You are a life saver. I'm trying to figure things out on my own or at least to do a search to see what I might find. Today's just not been my day. Here's a slice for you if you want. I'm going to go eat the rest. Tootles! (I can't wait to get this code set up. I'll let you know if I have any problems/questions.)

Hi, Skidjit . Remove the following lines from: Themes > Layout Templates > BoardThemes > Layout Templates > Board > Board ListThemes > Layout Templates > Board > Thread List BrianJust wanted to let you know that it worked fine. I also think I better ask... there was a bit more code (that was on a couple of those) that I had to take out as well in order to get to the end tag </td> Was that ok to remove? I mean it all looks right from the site's view.

The parts I posted were from the default templates. As long as you removed the elements with the same classes as those I specified and got the desired result you should be fine.

Thanks letting me know. Brian. I'm going to go try it out on some of my other themes. You have a great day.
