Chris , Your kitty is so adorable and pretty. Her fur looks luxurious. I like her hobbies. lol Your kitty is getting old like my striped cat. That pic with the shower cap? is so cute. Made me laugh. ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥ , Purrl is so beautiful. I love all your cats. I just love cats, period. I might repeat the photos from the other thread here and add some extras plus get some shots of the outdoor cat that I know will soon be an indoor cat if it gets too cold outside. lol

All your kitties are purfect! Beautiful! Chris, Penny is gorgeous in a regal kind of way. 20 is impressive! May she have years more of her happy, healthy life. ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥, amazing! Very handsome kitties and lovely photos. Also I admire you for participating in your local TNR program. Would like to set something like that up in my area but it would be difficult to enforce with all the outdoor pet cats, I think. One day maybe. Tumbleweed, I would enjoy seeing more pictures. Like we've mentioned in that little funny cloud thread, we could look at photos all day! ukschalke, your past kitties look so pretty. I love the tortoiseshell pattern in their fur. I feel for you in your loss. Just this passed December I lost my fluffy boy of 10 years. Least we have our happy memories of their antics and love. As for my own pets, I'll have to share when i can get to my photos. I have my big boy curled up on my lap/half my laptop and drooling over my hand. Rather than disturb him to share pictures of he and his sister, I'll wait. Yes... my pets might be a tad spoiled.

This is Darby, our Basset/Something mix. Darby grew up in a rescue from the age of 5 mo to 2 1/2 years old when we got him. He had a lot of issues, but all he needed was patience and a loving home. This is Dora, our Basset/Something mix. Dora was set to be euthanized on Christmas Eve 2 years ago, but the quick actions of some very wonderful volunteers who put their holiday plans aside to go rescue her, brought her to the Daphneyland Basset Rescue. Dora had a HUGE tumor on her side, which we paid to be removed because we knew no one would adopt her. Little did we know that we'd fall in love with her and she would be ours. After coming to foster at our home, she lost an eye to atrophy and we found out that she is partially deaf. We couldn't love her more and we have officially adopted her now. Here are pictures from her first day with us:

♥ ℒʊ√ ♥ Your kitties are beautiful! I especially love the pictures of Purrl, has the bowtie look going on in the second picture with the way the berry plants are standing. Tumbleweed Haha yeah, we had just come back from a chocolate factory and they gave us those hairnet things to wear inside. I put mine on her and normally she tries to take off anything you place on her right away but for some reason she was super digging it haha. Posing and everything. ukschalke Daw what nice looking kitties. I'm sorry to hear that they passed, I'm sure they were great companions. @thecaptainstable I love his face! Such an inquisitive expression! wildmaven Aww look at the doggos. That's great you are able to provide such a good home for them and give them all the patience they need. Inkjet Oh wow, what beautiful fur on both of them! I love Cooper's guilty face haha.

@thecaptainstable I love his face! Such an inquisitive expression! Yeah, he's cool like that. Lots of facial expressions. More than I've seen on another dog even. I'm waiting for him to start talking to me one of these days

♥ ℒʊ√ ♥ , amazing! Very handsome kitties and lovely photos. Also I admire you for participating in your local TNR program. Would like to set something like that up in my area but it would be difficult to enforce with all the outdoor pet cats, I think. One day maybe. Mixed ~ Thank you.
When I moved into my home, we had a LOT of ferals and strays in the neighborhood. TNR wasn't even a recognized movement back then. But it was something that always made sense to me. And I have a wonderful vet. All strays/ferals were taken to him ~ not a clinic or shelter. They weren't really set up for that back then. Of course, now they are and things are simpler.
But once you see the results of less kittens being born and the numbers depleting humanely through attrition, you realize what an asset TNR is, not only to the community, but the feeder who has far less mouths to care for. Now, we may get the occasional stray or feral, or the poor drop-offs some uncaring folks tend to do, but other than that, the large number of kitties has reduced greatly.
Of course, I have my indoor kitties, as well. And my doggies. But I don't want to inundate the thread!

Beautiful dogs, Peter .
And how tragic losing both within such a short period of time. That's a lot of grief to handle.
My sincere sympathy on your double loss.

I love the pictues so far. Some beautiful dogs and kitties. ukschalke , I'm sorry you lost your kitties. They were so cute. I've lost too many pets to old age and I don't want to even think about it or I'll start crying. @thecaptainstable , wildmaven , Peter , Inkjet --I love all your dogs. Some real beauties in there and some are just down right cute as can be. When I got home from work I decided to try to get some fresh pictures of my cats but none of them were cooperating. The outdoor cat just wanted to rub my legs so no good picture there. He is still to wild to actually pick up and try to pose. But I managed to get a few of him first looking in the window knowing I was dishing out food for all the cats. And next to that is my indoor cat who just finished showing off to the out door cat by scratching the wood on the window frame. lol The outdoor cat doesn't have a name yet so I just call him kitty. If I name him, he will have to move in. lol He is so cute and so fluffy. If I ever get another chance, I'll try to get a side picture of him because he has a super red undercoating of fur that I've never seen in a cat. This is Lion King also in the second above photo, named by my grand neice. He wouldn't cooperate either because all he wanted to do was play with some toys on the floor and wouldn't hold still except in this shot. And this is Scamper, just finished eating and is licking his chops. So I don't know why I have some extra pictures showing up but they aren't showing in preview, bbcode or in the attachments so I don't know why they are there. Attachments:
