Hi. Is there any way to adjust the sizes of the available selections when embedding a video in a post via "Insert Video"? Small is too small and medium is a bit too large, so I'd like something in between. I've added Brian's code (found here), and changed the tag to 'medium', but medium isn't much smaller than default. Adding this iframe code to the stylesheet (with smaller dimensions) seems to work ok, but I'm not sure what else it affects. If possible, I'd rather just set the default size to something else and remove 'medium' and 'large' from the list of options. Also, any way to automatically remove embedded videos from posts that quote them? I thought I saw a support thread somewhere about this, but I'm unable to find it again. Thanks!

Hi, jcarter. If you want to target only YouTube iframes you can use this instead. I don't know of a way to change them back to URLs without the use of Javascript, but if you want to straight up remove YouTube videos from quotes you can use this.

Brian Actually, I was wanting to target them all, not just YouTube videos. That said, am I correct in assuming that this would include all videos? And that this would remove all videos from quotes? I don't see any need to change them back to their URLs, so that's fine. But to what else does 'iframe' refer? Is it just videos or will anything else be affected? And what of the drop-down selection? (ie, default, small, medium, large) Can that not be removed or edited? Because if I use the code above, I foresee a lot of questions about why the selected choice was ineffective...

This should target all videos. "iframes" are inline frames. Basically its a container for whatever. As far as I know there isn't anything other than videos that shows in an iframe in posts.

jcarter, with the code given above, regardless of the size chosen from the drop-down, the videos should all post the same size as specified in the code, thus overriding the drop-down choice.

jcarter , with the code given above, regardless of the size chosen from the drop-down, the videos should all post the same size as specified in the code, thus overriding the drop-down choice. And so they do, which is exactly what I wanted, thanks. However, as I said above, I would like to preclude questions about why the selected size has no effect. And look, here's one already: imdb2.freeforums.net/post/115118lol If there's no way to remove or edit the drop-down, I guess I have no choice in the matter. But if there is, I would like to know how its done. For example, the following code removes the "alt" input dialog from image posting: // Remove ALT input from Insert Image dialog (function(){ var iAP = $.ui.wysiwyg.prototype._insertImagePrompt; $.ui.wysiwyg.prototype._insertImagePrompt = function(){ iAP.apply(this, arguments); $('.wysiwyg-dialog input[name="alt"]').closest('tr').css({display:'none'}) } })() Is there not a similar method to remove or edit the size selection drop-down for videos?
