Hi - as in the title, how does one either disable the post counter, or stop it displaying on the board in member’s avatars ?

The post count displays in a number of areas. Did you want it hidden altogether, or just from the mini profile?
It also shows in the profile, and on the members list.

Hi, moriarty. On the default theme there are 4 sections that control the display of post counts on the forum. Removing each of these lines of code will remove post counts from public-facing sections of the forum. Themes > Layout Templates > MembersThemes > Layout Templates > Members > Member ListThemes > Layout Templates > User Profile > SummaryThemes > Layout Templates > Mini-Profile
