Greetings and Salutations,
Currently I am searching for a plug in that will create tabs on forum posts. Now I have run across the plugins that create tabs in forum posts but that isn't what I am striving for. What I need in essence is the ability that when I create a topic it created a 3 page tab - One for IC, one for OOC, one for CS. Rper friendly so that the IC, the OOC, and the Character Sheets can all be houses for an Rp in a single post. Each tab members of the RP can add as they need or as the GM allows. It is a feature on another RP forum I am a member of and I have to say it has spoiled me rotten. Is this in anyway possible for here?

I'm not a plugin author so I'm not posting because I can make this code - but I don't quite understand what you're wanting, which means authors probably won't either. Can you post a link to where this code exists already? What is the difference between these tabs? I'm a roleplayer so I understand IC, OOC, etc., but is it like IC is where you write your character post, OOC is where you make some OOC notes, and then when you post it.. formats them in a certain way based on where you put it? My forum usually just does:
long paragraph of IC post content, etc, etc.
OOC|| Note goes here at the bottom for any OOC sidenotes
Is it supposed to make tabs for each section in the actual post itself, too, or just format it a specific way, or..?

Here, took a screen shot of the layout I am speaking about. It's popular on a Roleplay Forum I am a member of and it really makes things a lot easier for people. As you can see, at the top left of the topic there is an IC, OOC, Chatacters - Each one is a tab, you click it it takes you to that tab. Its like taking 3 topics and melding it into 1 area. When you create the topic, it automatically makes all 3 tabs within the topic, labeled out already. You can flip between the three and never "leave" the topic.

Like they have on the Roleplayers Guild, right? Precisely - hence the screen shot from RPG. Something like that. (I am completely spoiled when it comes to the tab set up lol)

I don't know if it's a similar concept, but I know there's coding for tabbed Categories, and there's coding for tabbed info boxes in your Miniprofile. ₪» ⅀ ƪ Ƒ «₪ , Three tabs when you go to submit a post, like how 'Preview' and 'BBCode' work, only this plugin would be in addition to that, maybe above the 'Postarea'. Likewise, when you read posts, you can see the three tabs, and see what the author posted in each tab respectively. This is a popular method on the Online Play-by-Post scene, as it lets the author make "optional" information readers don't have to read if they don't want to, but if they want more input about any sensory data other characters might perceive and/or pick up on, they can provide it to viewers who are interested in looking. Some communities also have Stats (like Dungeons and Dragons), and this method would be popular because it would let people post their stats, but not in a way that distracts the eye from the In-Character post they wrote.
