New forum but I show up as a "junior" in my ranking despite being admin. Is there a way to change this?
Also,
New Users get the Welcome Message that I initiated. It says it is created by "Forum Staff" and it shows the ProBoards "PB" logo. Is there a way to change that to a logo of my choosing?
Searched for answers but can't find a solution thus I am here.
thx

Hi, johnon. If you're part of any publicly visible member group you should be able to select it as your display group in Profile > Edit Profile > Settings. If the group is hidden you'll need to change its group type to Private to make it show again. You can do this in Members > Member Groups in your admin area. It's not possible to alter the author or avatar of the welcome PM, but you can replace the entire mini-profile after the page loads using this plugin: www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/180

Thanks, I got 1 of the 2 questions answered. I think I wasn't clear on the 1st though.
"New forum but I show up as a "junior" in my ranking despite being admin. Is there a way to change this?"
I am the admin but in my profile I am showing as "Junior" because I have not made 500 posts. I want to "Graduate" myself to God like without posting the 500 posts. The admin group is already set to "hidden". This is about Ranking as opposed to about Membership.
Let me give an example, see how in this thread I show as "New Member", I want to "Graduate" myself to God, again without doing all the posts. I my forum I created, My username is already "Admin" but my ranking is "Junior"
thx

Your member rank is always determined by your post count. There's no way to obtain a higher posting rank without attaining the necessary post count or manipulating your post count in the Staff Options tab of your Edit Profile page.
