I have an image linking to a site outside of proboards. But when the link is clicked, it inserts my proboards address before the rest of the web address, which of course doesn't exist. Am I missing something here? Does proboards not allow links to outside sites? I am currently on Free version. Thanks! EDIT: Don't know if it helps, but the image w/ link is in my sidebar Redux.

Likely what's happened is that you've incorrectly linked the image. There's no difference in functionality between the free forums and the paid forums.net (which is a sister service, not an 'upgrade' service).
However, we can't help unless we can see the link in question.

The site's protocol needs to be included before the link or else the browser will assume the link you entered is a relative path located on your domain. The protocol will usually be either http:// or https://.
