lovebunny, Check the stylesheet for that theme. It looks like you have a .p-banner class that's applying a repeat on it:

lovebunny, Looking at the top right of my image, it's showing a Line 901. If it's not that exact line, that should be a good starting point.

lovebunny, The best thing I can suggest is to try these (any order): - In your stylesheet, press CTRL+F to get a search window. Type in repeat and look at each highlighted occurrence of it to see if you can find it within its CSS surroundings as seen in my image. - Check your Global / Main Headers and Footers section ( Admin > Structure > Headers & Footer) to see if it may be enclosed in <style> tags in any of those areas. Let me know your results, please, so I know if we have to look elsewhere. EDIT: Be sure you are looking at your default theme (the ones guests see). It is in your stylesheet - most likely near the bottom, just under the @media part: I'd suggest just going to the bottom of your stylesheet and then working back up. Not sure why it showed line 901, but it's probably later than that. When you see the media part (like in the image), it should be just below it.

lovebunny, Just checking, but are you sure you are looking at the correct theme in the Theme Editor? If you're looking at the correct theme, it should show a (default) in parenthesis after the theme name in the dropdown. You can also check to make sure the Default Theme checkbox is checked. EDIT: If you still can't find it, you may want to tag a PB Admin to take a look for you, as I'll be gone for the next few days.

You were in the right section of the style sheet. There's just no background-repeat property, so you would need to add one.

Your image isn't large enough to fill the entire width of the page, so your background color is showing behind it.
You can forcibly resize the image by adding this where you added the previous CSS.
