Just to make things a little more complicated for you (sorry), you can have the summary hidden by default on display it with a click.. First, find this part of the Posting Page layout (at the bottom).. {if $[summary]} <div class="container $[summary.class]"> <div class="title-bar"> <h2>$[summary.title]</h2> </div> <div class="content cap-bottom"> <table class="list"> <tbody class="$[list_class]"> $[summary] </tbody> </table> </div> </div> {/if}
And change the red line to this... <table class="list" style="display: none">
Then change weareallone 's code to <!-- Make Thread Summary Title Bar clickable to show or hide --> <script> $(document).ready(function() { if (pb.data('route').name == "new_post") { $('.container.posts.summary > .title-bar').click(function() { $('.content > table').toggle(); }); } }); </script>

Ive been sitting here for 10 minutes confused as hell. I hate to bother you Todge, and quite frankly, I am glad to see you are still chilling on these forums, youre a great help! Ok so I may have broke or fixed something at this point I don't even know anymore.
Ok so
that part I managed to do somehow. But now for the life of me this part has thrown me for an infinite loop and if I don't stop I am gonna get the spins and throw up on my keyboard.
Then change weareallone 's code to
<!-- Make Thread Summary Title Bar clickable to show or hide --> <script> $(document).ready(function() { if (pb.data('route').name == "new_post") { $('.container.posts.summary > .title-bar').click(function() { $('.content > table').toggle(); }); } }); </script> i just cannot seem to process this request lmao. Can you offer any ideas

All you have to do is add that last script to the bottom of the Posting Page Layout.

All you have to do is add that last script to the bottom of the Posting Page Layout. I went ahead and did that and it still is just showing the tabs. I tried to remove everything to start over or just get it removed at this point because it has taken so long.
Lol here is a picture for reference. I went ahead and did everything in order but I may have messed up somewhere. Any advice is appreciated otherwise I will try to reverse the steps somehow. Thank you again!

Tabs? where'd they come from?? the change I gave you and the code will only collapse the thread summary below the post box in the posting page. If you have added a code/plugin that adds tabs in it's place, then that is why it's not working. The changes I gave you will only work on a standard layout or any layout that does not mess with the thread summary.

I tried back tracking on this thread to see what code I added, but I can't find it lmao. I am working on that now. Because I do want to be able to collapse the thread summary just like you said, that was the original intention of creating this thread.
Ill try and see if I can find the code that is causing it to be tabbed.
I back tracked through this thread a few times already but maybe the third time will be the charm. Thanks as always Todge!
