Hi all, I thought I might be able to use position: sticky; (and position: -webkit-sticky; ) but I'm getting nowhere fast to the point I'm wondering if it is supported on ProBoards? (Searching yields no results, although it may be I'm not using the correct terms in the correct places.) Am I mistaken? If not, and indeed it isn't usable, what is the prohibiting factor, please? (If it does turn out to be usable, I'll post the ' Why can't I get ...' question on the relevant board. )

Thanks Pearson , I guess this is as much a query / confirmation about the position: property's sticky value as anything else. Conformation that it cannot be used will have me looking at the alternatives, if that's what is needed. (Edit: And, if so, understanding why it cannot be used might be useful, too.)

Theoretically you should be able to use it; CSS use is based on the browser youre using not the software or website.
Please provide a URL, your browser and version number, as well as information on the element you are attempting to use this property on so we can better diagnose the issue (:

Theoretically you should be able to use it; CSS use is based on the browser youre using not the software or website. Thank Kami That would have been my expectation, too but to date I have had very little success. However I should make it very clear that I am a comparative beginner when it comes to coding, so I am perfectly happy to concede it may be down to my inabilities rather than anything else. (Although the other 'red flag' is the lack of (any?) discussion around that sticky value.) I will do - on the right board - but it might have to wait until the weekend. In the meantime ... if any of you experienced coders out there would like to knock up a proof-of-concept proving things one way or the other, it would be greatly appreciated!
