There was a recent request for that by a user on that forum. I'm certain I can do it through scripting but it would be more convenient if it could be added as another accepted video site.
The embed snippet from archive.org (in this example, for Plan 9 From Outer Space) is:

Thank you. I'd noticed that but hoped that I wouldn't have to run with it as the answer.
Some people still struggle with linking to images so explaining this to them is not ideal.
When creating a thread, or using the full reply, they should see a line of buttons. One of those is for inserting a video. All they should have to do is click that button and paste the video URL into the box at the top of the popup.
