Description: So, what exactly is FearTales? Well to put it simply, this is a writing forum. Specifically, for horror/science fiction. At first glance, it seems like you are expected to read/write horror, or things that are particularly meant to be scary. While that is a part of the site, it isn't the only genre you are limited to. If you'd like to write a story about, say, a dystopian society, you may very well do that. There is a section for science fiction, and there is a section for horror. There is also a section for any other genre, if you want to stray away from horror or science fiction. Maybe you want to write a drama, or a romance, or high fantasy, you may do so! You are not limited on what you write here!
The idea is to give people a chance to test their skills, indulge in writing as a hobby, or even read interesting stories written by other users! The sky is the limit! You go where the words take you. The idea here goes further than just reading and writing, however. My vision for FearTales is to do all that, plus create an awesome community of like minded individuals.
