Is it possible to have a plugin,so that you can select a certain skin for a forum? For example...I have a section on myths and legends, and I would like to be able to set a different skin for that forum,so when someone enters it,the skin is different. Does that make sense? It’s something that was possible on zetaboards..you could select either the default skin or a specific one. Thanks in advance

I am not able to do this so I'm not answering as a coder, but to clarify for any potential coders:
Do you mean when you click on a specific board, the skin changes? The entire site itself is referred to as a forum, a board is the separate areas that threads go, and a thread is where we actually make posts. Since you used different terminology, I wanted to ensure you do mean boards.

At most a plugin will be able to competently recolor elements and change background images within the existing theme when entering a specific board. You'll get a more ideal result if you accomplish this through the combined use of layout templates and your theme's style sheet and create a theme that does all of this by itself. This will allow you to change more than just colors and backgrounds.
A plugin isn't going to be able to switch between the themes listed in your Theme Manager page on the fly if that's what you were looking to do. The theme that loads on the page is determined solely by your theme selection within your profile settings.
