forum: thecurecommunity.freeforums.net/forumI am using sidebar redux & up until now it's been a nice plugin to show our twitter activity, farcebook activity & recent posts. Recently I had to remake the widget for the twitter feed as it had completely stopped showing anything. This (sort of) fixed the problem, but with 2 rather annoying effects. Well 1 rather annoying & 1 really annoying effect. The "rather" category I suspect is due to the widget settings. The sidebar used to show tweets where @curecommunity was mentioned. Now it only shows tweets by @curecommunity. Like I said, I suspect this is on twitter's side & nothing to do with the plugin per se. But if anyone has a way I can change it to the "mentioned" option, I'd be very grateful. Now for the "really annoying" aspect. The displayed tweets run about 3x the length of my forum, pushing the recently updated cell way down out of sight. Re-ordering the cells would half remedy that, but I'd still have a twitter timeline running into the darkest depths of Mordor. Is there a way to limit the cell to show, say, a dozen tweets so that the sidebar & forum page are both the same length? I have attached a screen grab, but that doesn't really do it justice, so go to the url I posted here & you'll see exactly what I mean. It looks dreadful. Thanks for any help in advance

Hi, stevecureboi. Twitter has a link to customize the embed after you create it (the link says set customization options) and provides fields for width and height. I'm unfortunately not able to find a way to create an embed that includes mentions. It's possible Twitter removed the option since they changed how widgets are created.

I tried that, but it only adjusts the height & width of the tweets themselves & not the sidebar cell they're displayed in. So I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to get the feed to stop at the bottom of the forum

Based on my tests it restricts the element containing the tweets to the dimensions I specified. Take a look: venomwork11.proboards.com

Based on my tests it restricts the element containing the tweets to the dimensions I specified. Take a look: venomwork11.proboards.comWow! What size setting did you use? I have it at the minimum height allowed (200px) edit: I seem to have done it! That's really weird. When I first remade the widget & set to 200px height, the timeline started making a bid for the centre of the earth. I just remade it with the same height just not & it showed only ~4 or 5 tweets. So I can only assume this was an error in the twitter widget at the time I made it. Have made a final tweak to make it a similar length to the main page now....phew. Thankyou Brian for being so patient with me & for your help as always s
