Hi, shiningheart. The image you uploaded is specified as the background image of the banner area, so it doesn't conform to the dimensions of the element. I see on line 240 of Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet you have background-size: cover; which will make the background image enlarge to meet the size of the element. You can change this to background-size: contain; to make it shrink to be fully visible. The background will repeat after this is done, but you can change that behavior in the Visual Editor tab by changing the options in the Background section.

When I do that the background color appears at the end. Did I do something wrong?

No, that's the expected result. Since the background image shrank it ends well before it reaches the sides of the element. The background color shows anywhere that's not covered by the background image.
