Hi Due to the prevalence of spam on my forum, I'm putting all new members into Post Quarantine so that they are not supposed to be able to post without my manually approving their post.
Recently, I had a new member register on the forum, and I put that member into Post Quarantine before even accepting the member to the forum. In short order they posted spam on the forum, and I did not get a notification of their post, or chance to approve the post, before it showed up on the forum.
Why didn't post quarantine work? I need a post quarantine that actually works, or it's pointless to spend time putting new members in post quarantine.
This is the version of Post Quarantine that I have: Post QuarantineVersion 1.2.9 Beta

However, you may get some useful information by reading the help thread he has for that plugin: Post Quarantine [library support]

One question: Did the new member post via a mobile device? And a very fine question, indeed! The answer to which might reveal the cause of the problem. It's always a pleasure to see you, friend.

I dont' believe the new member posted via a mobile device, as there is no indication of that in the post. ONe oddity is that when I checked their IP address on www.iplocation.net, I found that they were using a VPN. That might have been an indication of a spammer, but I decided not to ban them since some "regular folks" use VPNs. There's a real need for post quarantine so it would be my hope that if the individual who created this plugin is not around, someone else might create another plugin to do the same task.

Hello bluegraniteI grabbed a quote from the Help Thread for that plugin which points to another possibility: Well if V6 removes mobile version of browser so plugins have to run, then it might work better. but based on the fact that its all still javascript based, there is always a way around it.I'm a code n00b but when I read something like that, it suggests that a very clever coder might be capable of circumventing any new version which would be written.
