Winter is here! Lets talk about the things that you like the most about winter. I like staying inside and watching the snow fall while drinking some hot chocolate, I find it relaxing. Course it isn't as fun when I'm outside waiting for the bus. ^_^

I'll say candy canes because they are not an all-year thing. I drink hot chocolate year round and I'm not super lazy, even in winter, so most of those don't work for me.

I like the fact that it's very quiet for several months due to the absence of 70+ degree days.  Snow is fine as long as I don't have to go out in it. |

Even though I am in Australia, I love Winter and do like snow.
Every few years we get a sprinkling of snow in Canberra, but it doesn't last long.

I picked the fifth and last answers. I LOVED winter when I lived near the Rockies. Skiing was awesome there. Back in the midwest, not so much. Here, snow is just a nuisance.
By the way... Stop rushing the season with your Christmas Elf name! Please give Thanksgiving its due consideration. /grumpy_opinion

I chose "Christmas". I love Christmas, but that 's not the only reason I like Winter:
I like the shorter days (hate going to bed when the sun is still up).
I like that I can take a rest from doing the gardening for 4 months, until the garden waste bin people come back.
I love snow.
I love the Christmas Markets, and drinking Christmas Punch. |
