I chose Jack Frost, A Christmas Story, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and another one of my faves that isn't listed is Trading Places with Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy!

My favorite is the Christmas carol thought I don't have a particular version in mind. It has been done many different ways and I always enjoy seeing how people do it differently. It is a pretty versatile movie that can lend it's self to different interpretations. The basic idea of bad guy turning good is always heart warming. This is another good one:

One of my favorites is the 1982 movie The Snowman. It's animated and mostly without dialogue; just beautiful images, a touching story, and amazing music. Not for someone who is currently grieving or is triggered by stories that include death. www.imdb.com/title/tt0084701/

There are a lot of good Christmas movies out there, so hard to say one is 'best Christmas movie of all time'. My top two poll votes are Charlie Brown Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street (original). ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥'s addition above is definitely in my top 5 for the same exact reasons she listed! "I'm Mr. green Christmas I'm Mr. Sun. I'm Mr. Heat Blister I'm Mr. One Hundred and one They call me Heat Miser Whatever I touch Starts to melt in my clutch. I'm too much!"Made for TV movies shouldn't be excluded from this list. Some of my top faves are: A Christmas Visitor Mrs. Miracle Miracle in Manhattan (aka Call Me Mrs. Miracle) The National Tree The Christmas Card A Very Merry Mix-Up

"I'm Mr. green Christmas I'm Mr. Sun. I'm Mr. Heat Blister I'm Mr. One Hundred and one They call me Heat Miser Whatever I touch Starts to melt in my clutch. I'm too much!" I had that song stuck in my head all week, especially when I was injecting people with radioactive materials.

I honestly can't believe no one has mentioned Santa Claus: The Movie. Not only was this an amazing story of how Santa came to be but it also stars Dudley Moore and John Lithgow. This is my favorite, second only to Home Alone. If you've never seen this, I highly recommend it! Moore plays Patch, an elf with high hopes and a knack for inventions and Lithgow plays an evil toymaker.
