I was hoping for a custom calendar plugin to go with a fantasy role-playing game I'm building. My forum RPG is a non-earth world based on a video game. The canon lore for the game has its own calendar month names, found here. I attempted to create a slightly tweaked version of this calendar, using Google Sheets here, but a plugin would just be more visually appealing on my forum. Right now, I manually input and update the data (via Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper). It would be great if I could have an empty calendar plugin that lets me edit the year, month, and possibly season. It wouldn't need to correspond to real world calendars, since an in-game day can last up to months anyway - what I want is a plugin where I can store the info (year, month, and season) ahead of time and just click/activate whatever one is current and have that info appear on the board somewhere. I like the Seasons Plugin that already exists, but it only lets you fill out the 4 seasonal slots and it cycles automatically with our real world calendar time and dates. I want something similar to this plugin, however: - I want 12 slots, instead of 4, that let me custom name the months
- I want it to let me input the custom year, too
- I want to be able to manually select/activate which month it is, to align with in-game plots, instead of it cycling automatically
If I knew how to edit plugins, I would use the Seasons plugin as a template lol but I'm bad at this. What I'm asking for is basically a glorified 12-slot chart in plugin form, but I can't figure out how to do it lol If someone sees this and thinks they can pull it off, I would greatly appreciate it.
