EDIT: You said PDFs and for some reason I heard spreadsheets. Sorry about that. (Thanks Kitty Katt )Hi BAI2 Google Sheets can be embedded but apparently that function is missing in the v6 editor. The correct icon is not there. The post embed for Google+ Docs is not the same as Google Docs. In v5 Insert Embed, we see this icon: For Google Docs as well as the Google+ Icon. You can file a Bug report if you like, or I'll do that later today.
If you're having difficulty embedding a Google Sheet using v5, make sure you get the correct link. After you publish your sheet to the web, you'll see a popup. Select whether you want the entire document or just one sheet. Then click the word that says Link (not Embed). Copy the provided link, then you can use the post embed button. Do NOT use the code which looks like this: <iframe src="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTgNEEpZzZLrvtCXQqBNMOLb-6hhHIRLhUjpMRHThlnMWoj39BY31qgtd4bknQUuZna6N4y80VS2cl0/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true&widget=true&headers=false"></iframe> The link you want will look similar to this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTgNEEpZzZLrvtCXQqBNMOLb-6hhHIRLhUjpMRHThlnMWoj39BY31qgtd4bknQUuZna6N4y80VS2cl0/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true

Retread, A Google sheet is not the same as a PDF file. Therefore, your instructions are irrelevant in this case (they are good instructions, just not applicable in this case). BAI2, I have also read the help post regarding this and believe that PDF is not supported for embedding. From what I have read before, I believe you can link the PDF from Google Drive, but it is not something that can be embedded. You may wish to wait until Monday when a ProBoards Admin can give you a definitive response for your inquiry.

I read the help thread and I just want to be clear that PDF documents are not eligible to be embedded? You are correct, PDF documents saved to the Google Drive cannot be embedded in posts. Currently the only Drive files that can are Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms. I would suspect that even though you can save a PDF to the Drive, it's not a native Google document in the same way Docs and the rest are. There is the option to open saved PDF files in Docs (which is basically a conversion from PDF to Docs) and you could then embed that Doc file. PDF files can be be added to posts with ProBoards attachment feature, but they will show in the post as a link. Depending on the browser and its settings, clicking the link with either download the file or open the PDF for viewing within the browser. Edit: Ninja'd by Kitty Katt while I was double testing options. Apparently the old version of Drive did allow publish to web of PDFs saved in Drive, at which point embedding would have been possible if the embedding site was coded for this. However this seems to be unavailable in the current version of Drive. I'm sure if it was an option Proboards would have included it.
