I have a jar that I drop them in. A giant old whiskey bottle I have been working on for a number of years. Sometimes I put the extra change in the boys' piggy banks. Once full, I'll take to the bank. I'm not sure I want to count it. You free, KnightlyCelt? No, not free, but I won't charge you as much as Coinstar! Instead of a 10.9% fee, I'll only charge you 10.75%! Oh, and travel, lodging, and food! I'm not sure I'm getting a discount. Fine. I'll count it myself.

I keep a small plastic cup in the cup holder in my car. When I get change, I put it in the cup holder. When it has some decent amount of money in it (half-full?), it goes to the next person asking for money on the median strip (homeless, "Fill a Boot for the Fire Department", etc.).

I either a) forget about it until it all falls out of my pocket coin by coin or b) get it into a big glass milk jug labeled 'The Cause'. What is The Cause? I'll know it when it comes!

I usually spend it. Itβs handy for bus fares, leaving tips when ordering food, when youβve got to nip to the shop for just milk and itβs silly to put such a low amount on card, collections for people at work when theyβre leaving/having babies/having significant birthdays/getting married etc. Coppers and 5p coins tend to get put in a charity collection box.

Just rolled my dollar, as well as my half-dollar, coins. Added $45 to the earlier figure, for $200 total.

I don't have much loose change these days since I tend to do things by card. When I do have a quid-or-so spare it goes in my moneybox though. (I have one of those cute ones with a coin-stealing-panda.)

It depends for me. I have a snack mix container that I started to fill up (it's still light). It's change from any dollars that I took out of the ATM, or coins that I found on the ground somewhere. I'm even using it for the change that I get from cans/bottles.
My plan is to not spend it immediately, and take a trip somewhere using it, but it's hard when I pay for everything with plastic.

i tend to save it and use it on cheap vending machines, or to print things out at my local library. other than that i usually just save it and let it pile up in my wallet in case i need change for something important, cause you never know.

I take out any coins with the years 2013 or 2015 (the years my children were born) and put them into their piggy Banks. I also save my singles that have L or E printed on them to add to the savings. The rest of the change goes into an old coffee container and the singles go into a 'splurge box' for the kids the next time we go to the dollar store.

I use my card for most things so rarely have loose change, but when it builds up I feed it into the self checkout machines to pay towards whatever I'm buying

I save it! I had over Β£200 last year saving my loose change in a huge water bottle. I'd been saving for five years though
