Is there a way to make a plugin that would add a link to the nav bar that when clicked on it would take you to a random thread every time? I think this would be fun for when you are tired of scrolling through endless posts. It might make members more inclined to reply to a discussion also if they think they are just rolling the dice and landing on a random discussion?

This would have to be a built-in feature as even if you generate a random number up to a maximum of the most recent numerical thread ID there's no way for a plugin to guarantee that ID belongs to a thread that exists or that you have access to.
This would only be possible on the server side where the forum software can query a forum's database for a thread and check its permissions to guarantee you're directed to an accessible thread.

Bummer! ... could you please mark this as a feature request then?
