Forum URL: (private) Is it possible to include class attributes into layout templates? I'm trying to set up the slides methodically, but the table codes wouldn't work the way I want them to. For instance, I wanted the first column wide, then the second column narrow, then the third wide again on the first slide. I had to take out the middle column because it was slammed onto the first column.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post such a question. I could learn how to manage the class attributes on my own (though I'm bound to ask for help at some point) but I simply don't understand how to include them or even know if they would work! Thank you in advance.

Yes, since the HTML elements reside in the layout templates. Basically the class attribute (class name) is added to an HTML element tag and points to a class in the CSS which then defines the style to be applied to the elements with that class name.

Alright, so I would just need to put the CSS bits into the actual CSS sheet while maintaining the HTML bits in Layout Templates. Thanks, hope I can figure it all out!

Okay, so apparently, I know nothing about applying class attributes to the Layout Templates and CSS. Can someone help me understand how to properly include them so that everything works?

I am guessing that table code you got from another source? It might help to know what you're working with. Can you point us to where you got the code from, or paste a copy for us to look at? You probably should put it in

tags if pasting a copy.

No, I'm trying to do it from scratch. I'm using the Carousel Slider as provided by Adoxography, though I wanted to style my "boxes" nicely. Once I learn how to do that, with the floating and positioning and whatnot, I should hopefully be able to do it on my own. But that's the problem; I don't quite understand where or how to start.
