Missing thread link in recent posts

So, normally, when you click on recent posts, at the top of each post will be a link to the thread that it was posted in (in some form or another). This is my old site which has it: The Wall

However, my new site (Heir Apparent) does not link to the thread which I find really obnoxious! lol. How do I add the thread link into the recent posts?

Go to Admin > Structure > Layout Templates, Thread, then Post List tab.

Make sure your correct theme is selected in the Current Theme dropdown selector.

Then look for this section of code:

<td class="content">
          $[post.likes]

and replace it with this:

<td class="content">
      $[post.thread]
      $[post.likes]

Save changes.
