I'm trying to learn more about designing templates on my own. I know that V6 would be out soon, so my efforts would probably be futile but at least I would learn some new things that could hopefully be applied to the next version when it comes.
Right now, I seem to have a hard time trying to position my tables on my test forum. so that it's all evened out. What am I doing wrong? Here is the test forum - phoenixseraphim.boards.net
Here are the codes as they currently are:
Forum Wrapper:
<div align="center">
<table style="margin-top:100px; width:900px; background-color:#141414;"><tr>
<td>
<div class="season">SEASON</div>
</td>
<td>
<div class="story">STORY</div>
</td>
<td>
<div class="random">RANDOM</div>
</td>
</tr></table>
</div>
CSS:
/* ENCHANTED ROSES */
.season {
text-align:center;
background-color:#080808;
border:2px solid #100c08;
width:250px;
height:300px;
}
.story {
text-align:justify;
border:4px solid #100c08;
background-color:#080808;
width:400px;
height:300px;
font-family:Abel;
font-size:10px;
color:#b9a193;
}
.random {
text-align:center;
background-color:#080808;
border:2px solid #100c08;
width:250px;
height:300px;
}
For "Season" and "Random," they will just be pictures with the Random being a random generator of characters' hover images (and a link to their profile.) This I could probably figure out. I just need to get myself to understand positioning things.
