On the other hand I'd be yelling at my The point was that yelling at someone in that situation is not a reasonable action. It's childish, or worse if the person knowingly does it to manipulate people ("if I make a scene they'll give me a discount!") You guys are talking about companies failing your expectations, but what about the basic expectation that people are civil to each other. I had a pizza that was late a few months ago. I called, "hey, I just wanted to check on my pizza." Then they remade and brought me my pizza. No need to yell at anyone or express anger since it's not like they physically attacked me. If it's a habitual thing then I'd just switch to a different place. My next pizza from this place near my house is free because it wasn't hot when they delivered it to me and my wife thought so too. I did not have to yell at anyone about this.

Like they're rubbing their hands maliciously as they create slight delays in shipping systems (for reasons as yet unexplained). It's weird to me. I understand frustration, but not taking it out on other people -- and I've never known of anyone more receptive to anger and public tantrums than they were to civil conversation unless their paycheck demanded they put up with it. It's frustrating to watch many businesses condone this kind of behavior.
