Proboards already is better than Discourse, considering I never heard of the latter. Upon a quick Google search, it looks like they don't even offer a support forum for their users. Psh. PROBOARDS FOR LIFE!!

Personally, I'm not interested in comparing the merits of different venues to ProBoards. While I'm sure various venues have their pros and cons, my interest is primarily in my home forum which happens to be on ProBoards (for nearly 14 years now). So if there are ways of making ProBoards better or a ways help others in the use of their own ProBoards forums, I'm all for that.

OP deleted their post... must have realized it was foolish to come to the support forums of ProBoards to discuss Discourse.
I will say- it's great software. I use it at our agency as a medium for client communications. But, I also will be the first to say that I don't think it's the best format for most everyday, casual usage. And it's definitely not for everyone. ProBoards fills roles and needs that Discourse simply doesn't. And for that alone, PB has a rightful place as a respectable service anyone should consider.
