Would you rather seize the moment and be spontaneous [like, "let's go out tonight!"], or would you rather plan days/nights out with friends and/or family? I find, when I 'plan' certain things, when the time comes, I don't feel like going I do suffer with depression/anxiety/OCD though....maybe that explains things...good days and bad etc.

Plan, always plan. Inevitably if I don't plan I end up stuck somewhere because the place doesn't have wheelchair access or I can't drink as there is no toilet I can use or the place refuses assistance dogs despite that being illegal, or the route I was going is closed so need to plan alternatives/transport and lot of places insist you book assistance at least 24 hour advance or they won't help you. Im also kinda an anxious person so planning helps make the whole thing easier and me less screamy when still things go wrong .

It honestly depends, and I don't know on what. Sometimes I like to plan something as simple as going out to dinner, and other times I've gone on spontaneous day trips from morning until night with nothing more than a general idea where I want to go. Generally when I plan things I find myself looking forward to them (unless it's something not fun like an appointment or something).

I dislike having my schedule thrown out of whack but some surprise event, so I always prefer to plan things. I tend to come up with a loose plan for the day in my head early on, and if I end up having to do something else instead, I just find myself thinking, "Man, I wish I could be doing [planned thing] right now" instead of enjoying it.

It's a mix. With kids now, everything has to be planned because we need to guarantee a babysitter, especially if a date night. If it's something that is family-friendly, I can be spontaneous. If I'm away from home on a conference or something, it's generally spontaneous with a group of colleagues. I'm malleable.

I like to plan things, almost to the point of absurdity, while Marian is far more spontaneous. It's one of the reasons we make a great pair, keeping each other from going overboard!
