Hassaan, while Derek‽ referenced it in his post above, I don't think it was made clear in this thread. If you choose to run your own ads, the forum you will need to be ad-free (Admin > Upgrades > Ad-Free). The forum can't have both ours and yours.

I've just purchased 50,000 ad-free pageviews and I've requested another review on my AdSense. Will this (hopefully) allow my forum to be monetised now?
What happens if I go over 50,000? My forum has been live for 3 weeks and has 30,592 pageviews and is generally averaging 1,000-2,000 a day.

The Proboards adverts will return until the start of the next month, (if you have a subscription), otherwise you will need to buy another 50,000 page views. If you are you to run your own ads, then a subscription would be highly recommended. Also you can get more than 50,000 page views per month, or just get a boost if it looks like you may run out for one month.

Do you mean simply adverts that aren't ProBoards'? In which case yes, that's what I'm hoping for by monetising my forum with AdSense. I'm not sure if I'll run out but it's probably likely in the future.

Well I bought a subscription so I presume it'll automatically keep the adverts running after a month? Or would I need to renew each month?

I got the same "no content" message, despite purchasing ad-free and a custom domain. What's missing? Here's my forum. I've lifted the privacy setting for the whole thing: tellyboard.co.uk/

Where abouts exactly did you place the code for the adsense in your forum ? My thoughts are that it might still be in a place that Google is not able to find it.

Well, I followed these instructions: Hassaan , Looking at your images above, I see that AdSense says to place that code between the <head> and </head> tags. That would mean that you would need to go into your Forum Wrapper template ( Admin -> Themes -> Layout Templates -> Forum Wrapper) to find those tags to place the code. Someone more knowledgeable may need to confirm, but it may not work being placed in your Global Header and Global Footer (and I do not think it should be in both places at any rate). Unless I do need to put it into the Global Header and Footer?

I got the same "no content" message, despite purchasing ad-free and a custom domain. What's missing? Content. Your forum needs threads and posts and ample text content for the ads to match with. Google is unsatisfied with the amount of data available, because, frankly, your forum is a content desert at the moment. You’re so concerned about generating revenue from your forum, but there’s nothing to monetize yet. You can’t just slap an ad on any ol’ page and expect to profit from it—the ad networks wouldn’t like that because the advertisers wouldn’t like that. Advertisers expect the networks to display their ads on quality web real estate with relevant content to make their ads more appealing to viewers. You are not currently providing quality real estate. Stop worrying about the ads and focus on developing the forum into a real community with real discussions and quality content. Your priorities are misaligned right now and you won’t come close to turning a profit until you address the root cause. FYI, the location of the ad code between the head tags is fine if you’re planning on using the auto ads function and letting Google just insert the ads wherever they see fit. There is an ins tag in the footer with the class of “adsbygoogle” that will act as the insertion point for ads if/when your forum is approved, but it’s currently styled to not display.

I managed to get my forum approved as it turned out the board I had on private was triggering the "No Content" message.
I'm now receiving a message asking me to add my publisher ID to the ads.txt file but I can't figure out a method as to how to do this.
