Forum URL: mentalhealthissues.boards.net/I noticed this on another forum and I have tried to search here on a way to do it but can't find anything. The member tab what is the way to stop members accessing it? Is it a code or plug in? Thank you.

The forum is using some custom code to hide the member page only allowing staff to view it. Is this something you're seeking?

@stormcloud70, in your admin panel > structure > layout template > members, you should see some code. Add this line of code as your first line before everything else: {if $[current_user.is_staff]} Then add this line to the very bottom: {/if} Let us know if this worked out for you.

@stormcloud70, did you add @kelvin's code to the correct theme? Layout templates are theme specific.
While in the Layout Template window look for the "Current Theme" dropdown, and select the theme you wish to make the change to.

I want to remove it now but I can't find the code I put on the layout.

Not sure if I am meant to start another topic on this. I want to remove it now but I can't find the code I put on the layout. Reading the posts above, you will want to navigate to Admin -> Themes -> Layout Templates -> Members to find the code you put in. Be sure you are looking at the correct theme's layout template. The two lines to remove would be the first one: {if $[current_user.is_staff]} and the very last one, which should be: {/if} Be sure that nothing else gets deleted. If you are unsure, there is a Reset to Default button at the top that will reset that specific template to its default state. Be sure to save changes.
