There are some things I do daily: Wash the dishes, wipe cooker top, kitchen worktops, dining table, coffee table and vacuum. However, I'm a bit lazy with the dusting. I tend to do that when things are looking a bit grubby. EG: The TV, windowsills, shelves, mirrors. I say dust, I don't use a spray polish, just a barely damp cloth and a chamois. My bath and sink I wipe over after I use them...usually with a flannel/sponge and soap! Toilet gets done around twice a week. I'm also a bit lazy when it comes to de-cluttering. We tend to suffer from 'flat surface syndrome' in our house! It's not that bad, but after a week or two, it gets on my nerves and I have to have a sort out. How about you? Oooh, I almost forgot about the oven. OMG...about once a month...unless something has spilled

Since both Jim and I work, we'd rather spend our free time with each other doing something fun, so our house is clean enough to be healthy, but we don't go beyond that. My ex's Mom used to work full time, take the bus an hour each way, come home, make dinner for her husband (who didn't work), do the dishes, clean the house and then collapse into bed, never taking time for herself. And on the weekends, she was always cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, while he sat in front of the TV. It killed me to watch her do all that.

Life is too short to be a neat freak. As long as our homes are clean enough....that's enough! We need a few germs to make us immune, don't we?

I just cleaned the house this weekend. Usually, it's when it needs it. Every now and then it's because company is imminent.

We need a few germs to make us immune, don't we? Absolutely. My sister-in-law is a germaphobe and sanitizes everything constantly. Her kids are ALWAYS sick.

I clean the house, generally between when it needs it and when I feel like it. Usually ends up being atleast a few times a week for the most part.

About once a week. I deep cleaned the place not too long ago and have been trying to keep it clean every day so that I only need to do routine things like vacuuming, dusting, and laundry. Otherwise things are staying tidy on a regular basis and it's really nice.

When do I clean my windows? About twice a year outside...once every few months inside!

I have a Labrador so I need to hoover twice a week at least or the flooring looks like carpet. Dusting, polishing, mopping i do once a week mainly due to the dog and cats, also my chair tyres bring in dirt. If can’t do something though I don’t panic, things are never unhygienic here

I clean it daily -- I have a schedule and do something daily. The heavy cleaning is Saturdays. But I pick up the house, do dishes, laundry (weekly or when needed), and vacuum daily. You will be surprised what my kids can do within a 24 hour day. Vacuum is always needed.
