Hello! Today we’ve started getting full page ads on our forum every time a member tries to post. I tried submitting an ad report but got a message saying “we are unable to send this ad report”
I get that ads are necessary but if they aren’t allowing members to post them what’s the point of the board!
Please help! Any other boards having this issue?

To be clear the ads are redirects not pop ups

Hello, Welcome to ProBoards Support. Sorry to hear about your problem. ProBoards has a robust system in place for making sure malicious adverts don't reach its users but on rare occasions problem ads do slip through. This system includes a detection feature which automatically picks up and removes malicious re-direct ads as quickly as possible so problems like this are usually fixed quite quickly. In the meantime: did you try to report the ad via the 'Report Ad' link at the bottom of the page? If so I would recommend using the ad report tool here instead for re-direct ads. This tool doesn't require you staying on the page, but generates a list of the ads which have been served to you recently. If you recall the rough time at which the problem ads appeared it might be possible to locate it in the list and report it that way. Could you please also advise which browser and type of device (eg PC, phone, tablet) you and your users are having these problems with?

My forum is having re-directs again too.
One User is saying that they can't get back to the forum, I guess the re-direct keeps them away. Any ideas what they could try so that they can view the forum (User on an Ipad and say that ipserverdomain.com has take over after they won something)?

Hi,
We've blocked a lot of ads since the 10th. Is anyone still experiencing an issue?

Please direct people to use the Report Ad link at the bottom of every PB page (that has an ad on it). I'll have someone replace the old report ad tool with directions to the new link.
