It's snowing already up here in the north. I love snow but it does seem to happen earlier every year....Is it just me?
Bundle up tight you guys and enjoy the weather. Or just hide in a warm house.

The news keeps harassing me with alerts like "Farmers' Almanac Predicts 2019-2020 Winter Will be the Worst Ever!" I'm still waiting for The Abominable Snowman to knock on my door. I'm pretty far north, but it's 52*F today, and I haven't put on a jacket yet. I'd love some snow though.

There have been reports of squirrels all over the United States storing 3x the amount of nuts for the winter than usual. Animals usually know.

October snow seems to be a strictly midwestern + Canadian thing. The earliest snows I can remember getting were in November. I heard someone in Indiana say that in snowed there yesterday, which took me by surprise because our weather hadn't even dropped into the 40s yet. I like to have just the right amount of snow. Light snow is great because it looks nice. Medium snow is bad because it messes up my commute, but I still have to go through it. And heavy snow is great because I get to just work from home.

The best thing about snow is that it doesn't fall here!

Not true, you forgot New England : i95rock.com/remembering-the-30th-anniversary-of-connecticuts-earliest-snowstorm-on-record/and believe me that isn't the only early snow. One year we had t cancel Halloween trick or treating totally because of a double snow storm the week of.

If it starts earlier does it keep going all season long? Sometimes we get the early snow but the rest of the season just is a big flop. Last night we finally had a freeze (Under 30*F for us) and I didn't turn on my furnace in the part of the house my computer is in...it is now 59*F in my she-shack ...ugh!

Depends...if we get a couple warm days or it rains then we lose it for a bit. Most of the time once November comes winter is here until March.
30f=-1 c right? If so wow what a difference.....that's like fall weather for us.
