Seems as if any time I go to make these everyone recommends the crockpot. Meanwhile I just throw them in the microwave for a good couple minutes and I'm happy. I really cant tell much of a difference

If you like them heated up in the microwave, go for it, though I thought you were trying to eat healthier foods. Lit'l Smokies Nutrition info: SERVING SIZE: 5 LINKS. 8 servings per package. % of daily value from 5 Links= 160 calories, 22% total fat, 25% saturated fat, 11% cholesterol, 21% sodium, 0% fiber. So if you eat the entire bag, you are well over any of the recommendations for the ENTIRE DAY, which is really bad for your health. It also contains sodium nitrite: Sodium nitrate, a preservative that's used in some processed meats, such as bacon, jerky and luncheon meats, could increase your heart disease risk. It's thought that sodium nitrate may damage your blood vessels, making your arteries more likely to harden and narrow, leading to heart disease. Eww. They need to cook in the crockpot in bbq sauce for a few hours to taste good. Not the microwave.

But at least he'll still be below the daily threshold for fiber? My advice: Eat plenty of fiber. No one will want to be around you but you'll outlive them.

I have to say that I prefer the crockpot. Even to warm them up if I have leftovers. While I understand your thought on no taste difference, I've always found the crockpot makes the BBQ sauce more prevalent.

I really cant tell much of a difference You are using BBQ sauce, yes? If not, you're doing it wrong. Unless they're being baked with biscuit dough wrapped around them. Edit: I swapped to the Err Bear theme, but see no secrets except my eyes feel way more relaxed in this dark room. Also, I don't know, it seems like the crock pot would make them softer. I've made them on the stove, but never the meecrowavve.

Nah. I used an add-on called Nimbus Capture to get a screenshot of that page exactly as it was displayed for me at that moment.
