(I put this yesterday in the tech section but have been told this is the right arena)
I have a program with menus to choose from, like shown below. It goes fine most of the time; I make a choice and return to menu, no problem. But when I choose to print out a hard-copy the choice remains in memory and next time I choose an action the print command revokes and I get a new hard-copy and not the choice I made.
I am using ; “print #draw, "print"; dump” to print hard-copy. I don’t know where I found this command and cannot see it in LB manual but it prints out the whole screen with the fonts and style I choose, something I cannot do with the Lprint command.
The problem seems to be that I need to clear out some variables after the printing, but first I have to find them. I tried “val=0” but no luck there, also I stepped right to the beginning of the program, as I expected all would be “sanitized or purged” when starting again, but no way. Any ideas out there?
if val=1 then goto [menu21] if val=2 then goto [menu22] if val=3 then goto [menu23] button #draw, "Calculate a recipe ", [menu21], UL, 350, 200, 350, 30 button #draw, "Give name and number ", [menu22], UL, 350, 250, 350, 30 button #draw, "Print out present recipe ", [menu23], UL, 350, 300, 350, 30 ... print #draw, "\";Dan$(m,3) print #draw, "\";Dan$(m,3) print #draw, "\";Dan$(m,3) print #draw, "\";Dan$(m,3)
print #draw, "print" dump
close #draw goto [xxx

It is amazing the only reply I get is reprimanding me, for the way I proceed. I certainly would appreciate an answer based on the subject, or is it so that in spite of your high status in the society you haven't a clue?

gylfi , the reason you are receiving the replies that you are is because you are posting on the wrong forum. This forum is for technical support for the ProBoards software only. Since you are posting in error, I would recommend loosing the 'tude. I see you are a member of this forum: libertybasiccom.proboards.com/ and I believe this is where you are intending to post your question.
