The 24 hour guest count I find discouraging so can someone make a code so that it keeps going up instead of just counting 24 hours. I tried downloading a hit counter myself but I donโt find it very reliable.
A code that counts every guest and doesnโt reset would be great

Css only controls how something looks, what you need is javascript. I will tag in some of the scripting gurus Chris, Lynx, elli

I will tag in some of the scripting gurus Chris , Lynx , elli This is way above my pay grade but I think it would take more than just javascript. Probably a plugin key. I'm only guessing here but I would imagine the key would hold two kinds of data. - - a counter (tally of Total Guests who have ever viewed the forum)
- - a list of IPs associated with guests.
Each time a page is viewed, a determination would be made as to whether or not the viewer is logged in. - If the viewer is not logged in, the current IP is compared to each entry on the list of guest IPs.
- If the IP is not on the list, a new entry would be added to the list and the tally incremented.
- If the IP is on the list, no changes are made to the list or the tally.
- If the viewer is logged in, the current IP is compared to each entry on the list of guest IPs.
- If the IP is not on the list, no changes are made to the list or the tally.
- If the IP is on the list, the IP is removed from the list and the tally is decremented.
If the viewer is on the Home page, the tally is displayed for Total Guests in the Forum Information & Statistics section. ... or something like that.

Example of a prohibited plugin:You want to count how many pageviews a user has on a forum. Every time a page is loaded, you automatically call set() on a user plugin key to increment a count

Just been having another thought on this, if you don't mind seeing flags as well, take a look at this link. It gives you some code to add to your forum and shows a count of the number of visitors you have to your forum. Flag Counter

Do you see a different way to do this?

The widget I posted about above will do the job, don't think it can be done internally in ProBoards.
