It really wasn't, this man obviously sounds like his senses are fading away as an older man people get this way as you said. I use to work with an older man that was over 65. Good guy but you could obviously tell he was suffering from dementia or some sort of mental health concern. I went t ok visit my old work place not too long ago, apparently the guy got so bad apparently he threatened to kill someone over a $10 flashlight over saying he stole it. Now I know both these people well and knew him well enough that he wouldn't steal. So the store fired him without warning after the older man being there for 10 years. It's sad we get this way as we age some people just can't co troll or think right enough to think about what they say. So don't take it personally our mind just fades as we get older. I don't think Alzheimer's or Dementia was this man's problem. There are people who just get nasty with age and there is usually nothing to do about it but to keep at being nice to them. (If you so choose to befriend them). It was obviously something, he was kind at heart but his mind just slipped even fun to joke around with at times. Working retail that long didn't help it any.

(BTW-I'm... ahem, elderly, and if you want to use your money for chocolates for someone who will appreciate them, you can send them to me *she said with a bright grin and a chocolate loving gleam in her eye*) Perhaps you and I could start a C.A.C. - Chocolate Appreciation Club!

I know!!! We should! And we could do Secret Santa's next year but with chocolate! Of course we would need to get some more people in the club beside you and I! PS-I adore your signature. Laughed myself silly once I read that.

This is blasphemous! it hurt reading this.. This guy is the devil not you. I can understand not everyone has an obsession with chocolate...but he could of been nicer. He could of given the chocolate to someone else...or even back to you and explained himself...But to just throw it out..what a wanker.
