I tried to do that. I typed in the email address and then clicked on "retrieve password", but different advertisements kept coming up. How long is it supposed to take for the password to show up at my email address? I just received an email saying I have upgraded my account here at the support forum, but that is all.

ourlittlefamilysite.proboards.comHi! I am the administrator of the above board, which had been archived and has been rarely used for several years. However, occasionally I visit there to access some information. My password had been stored, so I hadn't used it in a long time. Yesterday, however, I accidentally logged off and then was unable to log back on because none of the passwords I tried appeared to work. I am pretty sure I remember the original email I used to open the account. Should I post it here, or PM it to you? Please advise. Thank you.

Forum URL: ourlittlefamilysite.proboards.comHow do you revert back to the default skin? We are archiving this board and want to remove all skins and codes for the time being. I tried to delete all the skins, but it said I needed to leave at least one to use. What should I do?

I took the trailing comma off the member reorder row, and it still doesn't work. Here's what I have in there now. // Change the order here var iStaffMenu = [1, 7, 5, 3, 4, 6, 8, 2, 9]; var iMemberMenu = [1, 5, 3, 4, 6, 8, 7, 2]; var iGuestMenu = [1, 5 ,3, 4, 6, 2]; But here is what shows on the Member Menu: Now it appears that not only the log off button is missing, the profile button is missing as well! That is so weird that the staff menu works fine, but the Member Menu is all messed up. This has me totally stumped! EDIT! OMG..I think I figured out at least what the problem is..although I don't have a clue as to what caused it. It looks like the guest menu and member menu somehow got reversed! Here's what is showing after I logout on the guest page: It's the menu bar that SHOULD be showing on the member page! NOW what do I do?

Ok..well, I have been messing with the this reordering code for a couple of hours now, and STILL cannot get it set up so that the log out button shows on the member's board. It appears that the number assigned to it is "9", but when I use the code below, the log out button will not appear in the member's boards no matter where I place the "9" in the numbering sequence. The only way I can get the log out button to show is by removing the reordering code completely, which I really don't want to do.
Here's the reordering code I am using, with the numbering sequence I would like to have. Does anyone know what may be causing my problem?
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* Reorder Menu

// Change the order here var iStaffMenu = [1, 7, 5, 3, 4, 6, 8, 2, 9]; var iMemberMenu = [1, 5, 3, 4, 6, 8, 2, 9]; var iGuestMenu = [1, 5, 2, 3, 4, 2];
function reorderMenu(){ var menu = new Object(); var iCount = 0, admin = false; var iCell = document.getElementsByTagName("td"); for(c = 0; c < iCell.length; c ++){ if(iCell.item(c).className == "menubg" && iCell.item(c).firstChild){ iCell.item(c).firstChild.id = "themenu"; var cNodes = iCell.item(c).firstChild.childNodes; for(n = 0; n < cNodes.length; n ++){ if(cNodes.item(n).nodeType == 1){ menu[++ iCount] = { mnode: cNodes.item(n) }; if(cNodes.item(n).href.match(/=admin/)){ admin = true; } cNodes.item(n).parentNode.removeChild(cNodes.item(n)); n --; } else { cNodes.item(n).parentNode.removeChild(cNodes.item(n)); n --; } } } }
var nOrder = (admin)? iStaffMenu : ((document.cookie.match(/\buser=\w+/))? iMemberMenu : iGuestMenu); var theMenu = document.getElementById("themenu");
for(o = 0; o < nOrder.length; o ++){ if(menu[nOrder[o]].mnode){ theMenu.appendChild(menu[nOrder[o]].mnode); if(o != (nOrder.length - 1)){ theMenu.appendChild(document.createTextNode(" ")); } } } }
reorderMenu();
//--> </script>

Ohhhh! Now I get it! You weren't telling me to add the code to both headers, you were telling me to take it out of both headers and put it in the global footer only. Got it ;D! I'll let you know how it works..thanks again! ETA: Problem solved..."My Latest Topics" now shows up fine!

Thanks for this, Craig, although I do have a couple of questions.
Before the first code, you said that I should post it both in my global and main footer. Then, right after the code, you said, " It needs to go at the top of your global header only." So I am confused. I went ahead and just put the first code in both footers, but is it supposed to go in the global header as well?

Ok..here we are..nearly 2 weeks later, and it appears that the problem with the missing logout button still hasn't been resolved. The admin account sees it fine, but the regular members do not.
I thought I had fixed the numbering order in the code, but apparently it's still not correct. Here's what I have in my reordering code:
var iStaffMenu = [1, 7, 5, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 2]; var iMemberMenu = [1, 6, 5, 3, 4, 8, 9, 2]; var iGuestMenu = [1, 6, 5, 3, 4, 7, 2, 9];
If I knew the original numbering system assigned to each menu option it would really help. I tried to find it in the code database, but no luck.

Skins?

I think all that Craig means is that you should go to each skin code you have and insert what he indicated: <!-- skin specific code --> Put that just before each code. That way he can look at all your codes and will know which 4 skin codes you are referring to.

Hi again! Guess this must be my week to have problems ;D Anyway, as the subject title indicates, I am unable to get the new "My Latest Topics" box to work properly. I'm assuming it's some sort of code conflict, so I have tried rearranging the codes I think could be causing the problem, but still no luck. Right now, (as you can see), I have the rectangle box ad feature on. But I had to turn off the box with the latest topics in it, because it messes up the board. More specifically,when loading the front page, the box will flash for a moment, then disappear. When the front page finishes loading, the rectangle ad box is gone as well. No ad appears on the board at all. And the Logo I have in the welcome box gets bumped over to the left side of the page. In fact the whole welcome box gets messed up! So, for now, I have the Latest topics box disabled, but I would really like to be able to add it to my board's front page, if possible. Any ideas as to what is causing the problem, and how to correct it? Here's a link to my site.
