Trend threads?

Yes, thats true. But it seems a lot of people here are leaders nor followers because they make their own threads, and followers because they just copy an original idea.

I try to be original.... I haven't created a thread in the last 2 months or so, but its just because I can't think of anything. I think of a great idea, then oops, its already been taken.

Is it the idea of starting a thread that will become popular? I've always thought the people who replies to the thread are the ones who should take the credit for the thread. They are the ones sustaining it, keeping it active. I can create the best thread in existence, but if no one replies, it will never be anything but a dead thread.

It is rare for me to start a thread. I'd much rather contribute to an existing thread, hold a discussion with my fellow members and friends then I would solely be concerned about being the guy who started a thread.

Unless you are a thread starting genius, like Rich, let the talented thread starters start threads, and focus more on adding constructive, and entraining replies. GT as a whole would become a better place.

I totally agree with what kamel said besides one thing.

I believe that you dont have to be a thread starting genius. Sometimes people have somethings to say. Not everyone follows the trends and most of them i wouldnt consider thread starting genius's (I know im not one)

Everything would be much better if insted of making a thread called "top ten movies"maby make it "favorite movie and why" and give an in depth explanation about why you choose that movie and how it affected you.

If we all do little things like this then pbs will be much better.

Yes theres a time and a place for everything. And obviously if the thread was already posted at an earlier time then this is deffinitly not the time nor the place.

Exactly, and sometimes they try to hide the fact that they did it on purpose, its just too obvious that they did. lol

When ever I try to make a thread, it is quite hard, because as previosly stated, most of the tocs are basicly beiong copied and it is harder to think of a god topic, when they all pretty much point to one thread.
