Aichmophobia- Usually it's the fear of needles, but can also be the fear of pointed objects. Surprisingly, I don't mind needles, but I hate knives and pointed objects. I seriously have to turn my pencils around so that the eraser end in aimed at me.

fire I dont mind...and needles dont bother me after having an epiderial....lol...those things are huge....

Fire scares me because I was almost deaf as a small child, and I was told (kind of as a sick joke) that if I left paper by my furnase vent it would catch fire, so I'd have nightmares about my room catching fire in the middle of the night and waking up without hearing a fire alarm. All I'd hear would be the crackling of the flames.

I really don't know where the Aichmophobia comes from, I know it's just a silly fear, but I think it may have something to do with my father. He used to abuse me.

My only other real fear, other than a respectful fear of God, is the fear that my boyfriend will develope epilepsy :roll: yes, that's been bugging me constantly since that dream!

well that makes sense with the fire...its left a lasting impression..and I am not one to comment on silly fears....I am really afraid of zombies...I mean really really.... I used to not like needles but the military loved giving them out and like I said the big needle in the back kinda got rid of it....

Kinda makes me wonder if the face your fear thing actually works, although I really dont think I could face a zombie...

Yeah, I dunno. I'd say I hope so, but I really don't know if I do, and it wouldn't be a very christian thing to say. I've spent the last couple of years trying to find a way to "forgive him". Not to say what he did was right, but to not let it bother me anymore.
The thing is, I don't feel any anger towards him, or really even hatered, but that doesn't make what he did hurt any less..
