it was last night that i had a vision of tomorrow. there were craters to the left and to the right. they were here. they were there. they were damn near everywhere. and the soil, it was red. it was caked together. it was a mass slaying i presume. the sky, it glowed. it was an eerie sight. it was red in spots, yellow in others. sometimes oranges and even green. the air was toxic; i could hardly breathe. i walked onward in a northwest manner. i came upon a creature. it was human, or so i thought. its skin was peeling. its left eye was missing. it had no toe or finger nails. it crawled towards me. it bit my ankle and i died.
*****************
i was asked to sing the star spangled banner the other day. this is what came out:
"blood-stained tri-colour cloth
smoldering over the night's fire
as we dance around singing songs of peace
as we salute the black and white one hanging upside down."
the lady slapped me and told me i was a fool. i laughed and said: "then what are you?"
***********************
it was late. a horse approached the bridge. "hark! who goes there? be it man or be it beast? be it angel or be it demon? be it saint or be it devil?" cried the guard. the horse continued on. the rider made no attempt to reply to the guard. "hark, i say hark!" the horse continued on and the rider entered the moonlight. the horse was the colour of slate with bright red eyes. the rider was wearing a suit of shiny, silver army. all you could see were its bright red eyes and shiny yellow horns and claws. it carried a sword in one hand and a spear in the other. "who art thou and what be your business here?" "'tis i, america, you pixie, and i have come to dominate you. there is nothing you can do and nothing you can say. you cannot stop me for i am much more powerful than you could ever imagine. with that said, the rider shoved his spear through the head of the pixie, turned, and it pulled it back out. the pixie fell dead to the ground. a hole four inches in diameter was in the middle of its head. with the sword in its left hand, the rider removed all of the pixie's limbs including each and every digit and even its wings. the rider carved a star into the pixie's abdomen and continued on over the bridge where it would find its next victim and perhaps even a bride.
