I did not recieve any warning. Nor did I recieve a TOS violation email. Now I come here and ask for a reason and you will not even tell me why my board was deleted. This really is ridiculous!!! Someone had to contact proboards with an alleged TOS violation, to my knowledge I did not violate any terms of service. If I did do something wrong and it was brought to my attention I would have corrected it right away. A reason as to why by board has disappeared is not too much to ask as far as I'm concerned! I have contacted the owner Patrick to try and get some results because as I can see trying to get any answers here is a waste of time!!! Just wanted to clarify something. Proboards will never email you, they will contact you via PM on the main administrator account. Secondly, as I pointed out, they are not obligated to give you a warning. The ProBoards Terms of Service, which you agreed to by creating a forum, states that ProBoards can terminate the service [as in, delete your account] at any time, for any reason. Also, it's not that Craig won't tell you, it is that he cannot tell you. There's a difference. Additionally, it's not that someone had to contact ProBoards about a ToS Violation; it could've been a staff member randomly browsing sites for all anyone knows. Also, I don't think Pat will respond to your PM. All support questions and concerns are handled via this section of Proboards Support. I don't understand the comment "he cannot"! That intrigues me why you would say that. Just tell the guy what he did. I mean.... like if they arrest you and put you in jail, they HAVE to tell you why you are there. Now, I know you say you don't have to, but Proboards - just settle your position with this guy. Hey, it probably was with good cause, but just tell him that, and don't play games with him. Now, my forum will be at risk because of speaking up.

In AMERIKKKA_2008 and it seems in Proboards Forums, standing up for principles means sticking your neck out to allow them to lop it off.
I shall indeed stand up and I shall indeed never submit to a fascist ideal. Proboards have shown themselves devoid of decency and lacking in basic respect for their Proboard LONGTERM users.
When asked to explain themselves the Proboards employee says:
" I cannot"
Meaning:
"Stiff Biscuits"
Come on Proboards. Is this the happy environment you uphold in your crummy "Terms of Service?"
At least tell the guy what he did wrong to avoid it happening to him again in another 7 years time.
You see how evil this behaviour really is? You dont? Everyone else does.

I wonder if ALL Proboard forum owners should be concerned about the lack of transparency that is on display and shown here by the Administrators.
If they can do this without remorse, without valid reason or even a single explanation....
Perhaps Proboard owners EVERYWHERE should be made aware of the impending censorship that could happen to them at any time and without valid explanation.

Please show me where it says Proboards can behave without any shred of decent behaviour. Your post sounds a lot like you are gloating that people "clicked" the "I accept" box therefore they have lost their right to a reasonable explanation when their 7 years of work gets deleted overnight. Do Proboards have a clause in their Terms Of Service that stipulates their employees to behave without basic human respect for others? Do Proboards have a clause in their Terms Of Service that gives their staff the right to behave like Secret Police? I must have missed reading that clause. NOBODY would expect Proboards to put up with illegal posts and unlawful forum boards of course. However asking for a decent explanation for such removal after such a period of time without event, is a basic common courtesy, nay a DECENCY that any decent human being would adhere to their fellow human being. Obviously Proboards must have a policy of hiring employees who have lost that decent human part of themselves that still treats people with basic respect, or maybe it was a "non decency" clause they made you tick in order to be employed. Whatever the case to not have sympathy in this situation shows just one thing you have been doing this job and wearing this uniform far too long to retain any shred of human decency in your heart or soul.

amerikkka666, I suggest you refrain from posting things like that in the future. And that's a strong suggestion, but it's in your favour mate. Please only post if you can post on topic. If you feel that strongly, then please PM a staff member with your concerns.

To those concerned about this forum:
I am waiting to get a copy of the TOS report so that I can personally review it. It is our policy not to state reasons for deletion, and our TOS does give us the right to remove any forum that we host on our service.
The general attitude in this thread is not something that we tolerate on these forums. We will treat you in a respectful manner but expect the same in return. Nothing in this thread posted by our staff has been insulting or demeaning to anyone here, contrary to what some have claimed. ProBoards staff have red stars under their names. Any responses from someone in this thread without red stars is not an official message from ProBoards.

While I have not gotten a copy of the report yet, I did take the last 20 minutes to review the forum and it's contents, and it is my opinion that there are clear violations of our Terms of Service. My apologies, but this forum will not be restored.
