UPDATED April 30th:PLEASE INCLUDE ALL INFORMATION1) Please fully describe exactly what the problem you are experiencing is. Some members unable to access my board via my website. I cannot access via my website. No changes had been made to website link. Have today removed the number from URL but no improvement. Link successfully accesses sign-in Proboards page but will not accept log-in details2) What browser are you using? IE83) What version number is it? Usually under the help section of your browser there will be an "About Internet Explorer" or "About Firefox" link which will bring up the version number. For example, I am posting using Internet Explorer version 8.0.6001.18372 8.0.6001.18702IS4) Do you use any anti-virus software? If so what type including version number? ZoneAlarm 8.0.298.0355) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark? If so: 5.1) Go into your Manage Bookmarks section of your browser and copy the exact URL that is bookmarked and paste it as your reply for 5.1. mnemonics.proboards.com/ 5.2) After you open this bookmark in your browser, what does the URL say at the top of your browser when it is looping (copy and paste it exactly please)? Not looping, see above for description of problem 5.3) Try deleting the bookmark and typing in the URL to the forum manually. Are you able to access the forum this way? Yes, sometimes. Sometimes (today several times) get to home page with a welcome by name, but if I go further it takes me back to the sign-in page and then will not accept my log-in details.Thank you for your help in tracking this issue down. Is this in reply to my post? In which case could you explain please as I'm not technically inclined enough to understand what that means. Have to say I'm a little perturbed that you have clearly made a number of changes to the internal mechanism of your site which have caused untold problems to people. I would have thought you should regress these changes while you sort the problems out. Yes, it was in reply to your post. With all due respect, the code that for some reason was causing the issues of people's pages reloading was the same exact code that has been in place for over 5 years now. It seems something has changed with Internet Explorer 8 that does not like that piece of code. The solution to get people back to their forum is to remove that code for now. Instead of putting your forum in an iframe, simply link to it like this in your HTML code: <a href="URL TO YOUR FORUM" target="_top">Visit our forum</a> and it will break the frames out from your end. So are you saying the issue is with IE8 only? And is this only in regards to the Login problem, because I have IE7 and I still get the problem with the pages not displaying/embedding correctly inside my website. I'm not clear on what you mean by What code are you referring to exactly? Is this code within your Proboards 'engine'? And when you say 'the solution is to remove that code for now', can you explain what you mean by that? Is this code we can remove ourselves? Sorry if I seem a bit dim here but I need a bit more detail. As far as the login problem goes, it appears some people are now able to get in by direct linking using the proboards URL, but this means they don't have my 'container' website features (ie header and navigation buttons) available to them. Is a definitive solution likely to be forthcoming? FYI and as requested originally, here are some details provided by one of my members who can't login.... 1) Windows XP. Cannot login to forum and keeps requesting login details. 2) Internet Explorer 3) 7.0.5730.11 4) AVG Free anti-virus 8.0.238 5) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark? If so: 5.1) londontaxiforum.co.uk/default.aspx5.2) londontaxiforum.co.uk/forum.aspx5.3) Doesn't work for me. Although, as I say, I think the login problem now may possibly be overcome by direct linking to the proboards site, but this still doesn't address the problem of embedding within my own site. Also, I appreciate your help with the suggestion of not using iFrame, but the whole point of that is to seamlessly embed the forum within my website. Something that worked perfectly up until a week ago and now doesn't. The example you gave me simply takes them out of the environment of my website which is not acceptable really. Cheers and look forward to a solution!

NOD 32 5) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark?
