False accusations, i REALLY need help

I was on a message board that had an admin that didn't get on alot. She was VERY private, didn't share any information. Then people started getting banned mysteriously. I made a simulation board so the people who were banned could still virtually be on the site. Then a couple of months later, the whole board was deleted. I told everyone to just go to the simulation site and we could continue there. Well, then someone started accusing me of being the person who hacked the site, which I wasn't. I know how to hack but I've never really hacked anything! I'm just not like that! Anyway she rallied together several other people and I know I shouldn't worry about it but I feel like I just have to prove my innocence! Is there anyway to prove I didn't hack the site?

There isn't any way to prove you didn't do nothing. You know you didn't do nothing and the members who are still on your side will always be there. Don't worry about the other members who are ralling against you. They just need to grow up.



Create your own message board again and start over from scratch. A new beginning. (or do you want proboards staff to restore your board that you deleted)

I did, and so far it's got about 30 members. I made an RPG board to go with it too...they're just so stressful! No matter what I do they always find a way to talk to me on AIM and they don't just talk about me, they make fun of my horse Belle too!

Try to not let them get to you. You do know in AIM you can block there screen name so you won't get any more IM's from those people. In time they will stop there childish games.

They keep making new names! Can a block list ever get full? I wonder if that's what they're doing, good grief the people!

Exactly. There is a way though. Look into the security log and look for an IP of the one who was banning people and deleting things. Then have them check it against yours.

I can't, both forums are gone, and the admin isn't anywhere! Not that anyone knows of. She never gave an e-mail address!

Then there is not much you can do. This isn't a Proboard's issue to determine someone's innocense or guilt. Each board must be maintained by their respective owners. The individual members of each forum are monitored by those admin of those boards. Proboards just simply can't and doesn't have the time to police individual squabbles over things.

Sorry if that is harsh, but that is basically it. Just stay away from AIM if you are having problems. There's always yahoo or msn.
