..The folder with blue dot is the new icon, and the folder with the black dot is the old icon. Did you put them in the correct spots?

i have swaped them around now the old icons are showing on the boards that have been posted in today

Have you already viewed those boards? The new icon changes to the old icon once you have viewed the board with new posts in it, even if you didn't post in any of them.
