I am getting emails with people complaining about the Atlantis Gay Cruises in full size banner at the top of my site. Is there anything that can be done about this . Members are threatening to leave my site because of it.

The ad's that are posted on your board come from Google. The Googlebots come onto your forum and scope it for words, phrases, and just the main idea for your forum. For some reason, Googlebot thinks that you have something related to "Gays" on your board. So, they have added an ad for you.

Now, I may be wrong. But I believe that I have read something on ProBoards about this. I'll try and look. In the mean time, if you have the money, I'd buy ad-free; you could talk to your members to chip in as well.

At ProBoards Support, we volunteers pride ourselves in the fact that we give nice and helpful support. We are not rude or tell members to get rid of their members. That's the last thing that an ADMIN wants to do.

Just be aware of the support you give in the future.

No cause for banning or warning there, is there?

ADS support these boards. Proboards approves, neigh, CULTIVATES those advertisers you see.

To not support those advertisers is to NOT support Proboards.

WHO is more important to you?

The random, closed-minded tight arse OR the advertisers who allow Proboards to BE in the first place?
