The Proboards ToS states that to become a member of or own a Proboard, they must be at least 13 years of age. Not only is it a rule, but a decree of California law.

I suggest deleting the members who are underage and letting them know why there were deleted.

actually, only one member is 15. If any under that visit the board, they do it under the parents account.

Regardless of having parental permission, members under 13 must be deleted if you dont want your board deleted.

The point could be that ads that are totally unrelated to the forum content seem to be popping up and that should be a problem that can be fixed possibly. On my own forum which is about wolves....I have been seeing that gay atlantis cruises popping up all the time and it never has before...and I have no kind of content even slightly related to that on my main page where the ad pops up. if a forum is receiving an ad where they have picked keywords unrelated to their ad they have a right to be upset if that as starts appearing....i could see it if it was popping up in a page where someone is talking about the legend of atlantis....but if there is no such topic...they shouldn't have to see the ad.

Much Agreements! Much Agreements! excellent point wolf! I would be in agreement for this since my site is a SciFi site and Stargate Atlantis has the word "Atlantis" in it.

The reason I posted what I posted early was because that is what I have seen done before and that was the only logical reasoning I saw at the time; as I stated, I may not have been accurate. According to CW, I wasn't.

But still, I gave suggestions and support as to how to get rid of the ad.

If a keyword is making these adds appear, they must be very broadly based. I cannot think of any word on my Forum that would have triggered the Atlantis ad. That being the case, they are reaching an unintended audience and something needs to be done to change that.

You can't say that it's "inappropriate" for young children on your board, because if they're under 13, they aren't allowed, by law, to be there. I don't understand what the problem is. I mean, would you be complaining about the ad if it was Atlantis Straight Cruises? All Straight Cruises to wherever?
