Forum URL: tay666.proboards27.comWhat is with the bravenet cookies that are popping up now because of the banner ads? I noticed it on my board today, so I came here, and am getting it here as well. It isn't caused by spyware on my computer as 1. I have already ran a scan on my system 2. It is only occuring on ProBoards. It isn't every ad that brings about a cookie, but enough of them to be very annoying.

Which is why I have my browser set to allow sesion cookies, but I have it set to prompt me for cookies to be stored. Just seemed strange that all of a sudden some of the ads started causing the prompt when none ever had before. Seems to have gone now though. I have viewed a bunch of pages trying to see if it will happen. So far haven't seen any of the ads that were causing it. Maybe it was just a transitional thing while google did some tweeking.

The bravenet ads are not the main ads on here, so it may be that you haven't been on when those certain ads appear.
